Volumetric calculations on behalf of Aalborg Portland

We are performing volumetric calculations on behalf of Aalborg Portland to ensure their insight into their stock of resources.

Based on precision measurements, Geopartner is performing volumetric calculations on behalf of Aalborg Portland of their coal stocks to ensure they have a precise insight into their ongoing stock of resources.

This means that once a month, our drone is flown over their premises on Aalborg harbour. We also perform quarterly measurements of their pyrite ash stockpiles.

When asked about the value that Geopartner Inspections brings to their operations, Aalborg Portland’s operations manager Lars Ipsen said ”Drone surveys produce measurements that are more precise and far less time intensive than the methods that were used previously. Safety also factors in, as we no longer have to send somebody up one of our massive coal stacks.”
